Flower Care Guide

Simple guide to keep your U Flowers Shop arrangements fresh and vibrant

1 Clean Slate

If you are transferring a bouquet to your own vase, make sure the vase is thoroughly washed with soap and water

4 Feed Your Flowers

Mix the provided packet of flower food into room-temperature water. This gives the blooms the exact nutrients they need to thrive.

2 Fresh Cut

Using sharp scissors or shears, cut about 1 to 2 inches off the bottom of each stem at a 45-degree angle. This increases the surface area for water absorption.

5 Change the Water

Every 2 to 3 days, completely empty the vase, rinse it out, and refill it with fresh water. Give the stems another fresh little snip before putting them back in.

3 Clear the Waterline

Remove any leaves or foliage that will sit below the waterline in your vase. Submerged leaves will rot quickly and cloud the water.

6 Location

Keep your flowers in a cool spot away from direct, harsh sunlight, heating vents, and ceiling fans. (Pro-tip: Keep them away from ripening fruit, which releases a gas that makes flowers wilt faster!)
